Word of Mouth is a fun-loving and eclectic band whose comfortable persona is confidently backed up with superb musicianship, attention to detail, and a focus on vocals and harmonies with a female lead.  Word of Mouth grew out of friendship and community into a band, and they bring those righteous tidings to each show with thoughtful sets containing feel good music, poignant songs, and danceable grooves.

Word of Mouth never plays the same setlist twice, and fans have come to enjoy the unpredictable and choice song selections.  It's impossible to pigeonhole Word of Mouth into a genre as they weave a tapestry of classic rock, Americana, country, R&B, and funk into their own creation, best described as "The Snowbelt Groove."

Liz Ford (vocals and ukulele) and Dave Fisher (vocals and guitars) captivate audiences with their lead vocals and harmonies, adding depth and dimension to their stellar uke and guitar work.  Dave, a longtime member of the NEO music scene, has put his full attention and energy on this latest project.  Noel Black (guitars and vocals) comes to Word of Mouth from Houston, via Knoxville, via Salt Lake City.  Having shared the stage with some of the best pickers in the country, Noel's guitar work mixes precision and virtuosity with inspiration and spontaneity.  Some say that Bob "The Octopus" Polzer (drums and vibes) wasn't truly born, but rather he emerged from an old hickory stump one day with drumsticks in one hand and a chisel in the other.  Huck Ford (bass and vocals) rounds out a rhythm section which boils the sap into a thick amber syrup of aged maple funk.

Drawing on a wide range of influences, Word of Mouth has quickly built up a devoted following of fans from around Northeast Ohio.Their shows are more than just music, but are community affairs with a deep sense of camaraderie between all involved.
